Abstract
Objective:To investigate the expression of RECK gene in the eutopic endometrium and in the ectopic endometrium of women with endometriosis.To find the relationship of RECK gene and factor in vascularization and tissue infiltration.Method:The method of RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of RECK,MMP-9 and VEGF in 40 patients with 40 specimens of the ectopic endometrium and 24 specimens of the eutopic endometrium and 20 specimens of normal endometrium.Results:The relative experssion level of RECK mRNA in the ectopic endometrium was lower than that in the normal endometrium and the eutopic endometrium(P 0.05).The relative expression level of RECK mRNA in stageⅠ、Ⅱ was conspicuously higher than that in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ(P0.05).The relative expression level of MMP-9 and VEGF mRNA in the three endometrium specimens were obviously different.Conclusions:The expression of RRCK decreased in endometriosis,but the expression of MMP-9 and VEGF mRNA was increased.It is possible that the decrease or loss of RECK gene is one of the mechanisms on the development and progression of endometriosis.The expression of RECK gene may depress the expression of MMP-9 and VEGF mRNA.
