Abstract

Objective To detect the serum level of adiponectin and IGF-1 in endometriosis and inpendence with BMI.Methods Serum level of adiponectin and IGF-1 were measured with ELISA in 40 patients with endometriosis and 60 controlst,herefore compute the BMI of all the experi-ments.Results The level of APN in serum in endometriosis group were significantly lowert,hus IGF-1 were significantly higher than those in the controls(P 0.05),have no difference between the two controls(P 0.05),the BMI of the patients with endometriosis were significantly lower than those of the two controls(P 0.05),have no difference between the controls.Conclusion It is likely that APN and IGF-1 may play a role in the pathogenesis of endometriosis,APN withstand the develop of endometriosis,but IGF-1 promote it's developet,he patients with endometriosis have low BMII,t is a possible particular sign of endometriosis.
