ENDOMETRIOSIS AS A FREQUENT PATHOLOGY IN GYNECOLOGY

Abstract

The article is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. The paper deals with new aspects of etiology and pathogenesis, classification proposed date of endometriosis. Covered algorithms examination of patients with suspected endometriosis and combined rehabilitation therapy, depending on the extent and invasiveness of the pathological process. It should be recognized that, despite more than a century of study of various aspects of endometriosis, the disease remains a central medical and social problem. Endometriosis is on the 3rd place in the structure of gynecological disease and affects up to 50% of women with preserved menstrual function, leading to functional impairment and structural changes in the reproductive system, often negatively affecting the emotional state of women, significantly reducing the quality of life. For endometriosis characterized by the formation of tissues outside of the body shell of the uterus, the tissue that is very similar to the endometrium. The process can be genital and pelvic organs include (fallopian tubes, ovaries, ligaments) and / or extragenital, with the involvement of the abdominal cavity, bladder, lung tissue. In recent years there has been a clear upward trend in the frequency of endometriosis, which is one of the leading places in the structure of gynecological diseases. Like everywhere, from the surveyed 48 patients in the gynecology department of City Clinical Hospital # 1 in Almaty this pathology occurs in 10-15% of women of childbearing age.
