preprint
OA: closed
Abstract
The paper explores the influence of pornography, violence, and sexual technologies oncontemporary society, with particular attention to psychological, neurological, and culturalimpacts. Through the analysis of scientific studies and empirical research, we explore howexposure to violent and sexually explicit content impacts cognitive and emotionaldevelopment, potentially fostering aggressive behavior, emotional desensitization, anddistorted perceptions of sexual relationships. The role of media and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and dating applications, in accentuating emotional disconnection andfragmentation of interpersonal relationships is discussed. A critical reflection on the longtermeffects of these phenomena is proposed, suggesting regulations and educationalinterventions to mitigate risks and promote authentic human relationships.
