Abstract

Abstract Based on the measurement of industrial carbon dioxide emissions in China's provincial regions from 2005 to 2020 using the IPCC accounting method, the Kaya-LMDI factor decomposition model was used to factorize carbon dioxide emissions, decomposing industrial carbon dioxide emissions into four drivers: energy structure, energy intensity, economic scale effect and population scale effect, and then based on the decomposed drivers Then, a panel regression is conducted using the STIRPAT econometric model, and the results of the two models are integrated and discussed at the level of the four major economic regions of China and each province of China respectively, and finally, a regionally differentiated industrial carbon emission reduction path in China is proposed. According to the empirical results: there are significant differences in China's industrial carbon dioxide emissions at present, the stages of emission reduction vary, and the impact of each factor on carbon emissions varies and persists in the long term, therefore, each region should explore its own regional industrial carbon emission reduction path according to local conditions, and bring into play China's regional linkage to coordinate and drive the national industrial carbon emission reduction task smoothly, and realize the economy under the strategy of high-quality economic development and In order to achieve the decoupling of economic and carbon emissions under the strategy of high-quality economic development, we should develop low-carbon technologies and energy transformation under the perspective of different drivers, and integrate industrial carbon emission reduction into the national strategy of building a new development pattern, so as to achieve the overall requirement of " Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals " and lead the international community in low-carbon development.
