Abstract

Introduction: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has emerged as a complementary therapeutic approach of growing interest. Objective: This study aims to analyze the therapeutic potential of TCM in the treatment of endometriosis, highlighting its benefits, limitations, and the available scientific evidence. Methodology: A literature review was conducted, selecting studies on the use of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Moxibustion in the treatment of endometriosis. Results: The studies analyzed indicate that these therapies may significantly reduce pelvic pain and improve quality of life, with few reported adverse effects. Conclusion: TCM appearsto be a promising alternative in the treatment of endometriosis, particularly in pain relief, although further research is needed to validate and integrate this therapeutic approach into conventional clinical practice.
