The proposed TX is 2D scalable and is custom-designed and implemented in a 130 nm SiGe BiCMOS technology. The TX consists of a power amplifier (PA) driver stage, a vector modulation-based phase shifter capable of continuous 360 o phase shift, and a differential PA. The TX demonstrates a gain of 25 dB, P 1dB, and Psat output power of 8.5 dBm and 12.4 dBm, respectively, at 30 GHz and a 3 dB bandwidth of 5.2 GHz starting from 27.8 GHz to 33 GHz. The proposed TX establishes a secure communication zone in space by ensuring signal integrity in the intended direction. In unintended directions, the architecture deliberately distorts the constellation, making it significantly challenging for eavesdroppers to decode or extract meaningful data from intercepted signals.
