Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of dipherelin and danazol assisted therapy for postoperative endometriosis patients. Methods A total of 36 patients who received laparoscopic treatment and had pathologically-confirmed endometriosis were randomly divided into dipherelin group(n=18) and danazol group(n=18).Dipherelin group was administered dipherelin 3.75 mg,subcutaneous injection at day 1,day 28,day 56,day 84,12 weeks as a treatment cycle.Danazol group was administered danazol 200 mg/time,twice a day, oral intake at day 1 of menstruation,12 weeks as a treatment cycle. The two groups were followed up four weeks after a treatment cycle. The clinical efficacy,VRS scores before and after treatment, postoperative pregnancy and adverse events of the two groups were observed. Results The clinical remission rate and improvement rate were higher in the dipherelin group than in danazol group, but the recurrence rate was lower in the dipherelin group than in the danazol group. After treatment, the VRS scores were significantly lower(P0.01) in both groups. But the VRS score was significantly lower in dipherelin group than in the danazol group(P0.01).The pregnancy rate was 66.7% in the dipherelin group and 45.5% in the danazol group. No significant differences between the two groups were found in the incidence of adverse reactions. Conclusion Dipherelin can significantly relieve dysmenorrhea symptoms of endometriosis patients with low recurrence rate and it is worthy of wider clinical application.
