Abstract
To verify the prevalence of ovarian endometrioma associated with deep endometriosis, and to identify what sites were most affected by deep endometriosis associated with endometrioma. A retrospective study was conducted comprising 245 women (mean age 31 years old (range 19-44 years) with suspected deep endometriosis who underwent transvaginal ultrasonography with bowel preparation from January 2016 to January 2019. A single experienced examiner performed all examinations. We found 49.3% of ovarian endometrioma associated with deep endometriosis. Regarding location of the ovarian endometrioma, 31.4% were on the left side, 47.9% bilaterally and 20.7% on the right. When we analysed the size, 71.95% had more than 4 cm. The sites most affected by the association were the uterosacral ligaments (81.6%), the rectosigmoid region (48.9%) and the retrocervical region (30.6%) (table 1). Analysing the Pouch of Douglas blockage and presence of ovarian endometrioma, we found a prevalence of 20% and 34% of adherence syndrome. The prevalence of ovarian endometrioma associated with deep endometrioses was 49.3%. The sites most affected are uterosacral ligaments (81.6%), rectosigmoid region (48.9%) and retrocervical region (30.6%). EP31.13: Table 1. Endometriosis phenotype associated with ovarian endometrioma
