Abstract
In this paper, a fixed-time adaptive control strategy is developed for the uncertain MIMO nonlinear systems preceded by Preisach operator. For the existing approaches, it is difficult in determining the bound of setting time since unknown hysteresis and interconnected terms coexist in the analysis of stability. To tackle this difficulty, we present a robust fixed-time based approach by adopting the technique of adaptive fuzzy system. Benefiting from the proposed approach, bounded time-varying gains and disturbance-like terms which are from the decomposition of unknown Preisach operators and uncertainties with interconnected terms are accommodated. Furthermore, a type of special Lyapunov function is constructed to ensure that tracking errors converge to presettable intervals respectively, and the closed loop system is proved to be fixed-time stable. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control approach, a numerical simulation is conducted.
