Abstract
Objective To discuss the risk factors of infertility and recurrent ectopic pregnancy after tubal pregnancy surgery. Methods From April 2006 to January 2011,278 patients with tubal pregnancy who had been treated surgically in our hospital were selected as research object. They were compared for general conditions, complications, treatment, incidence of recurrent ectopic pregnancy and infertility. Results The incidence of infertility and recurrent ectopic pregnancy showed no significant difference in patients of different ages(P0.05);for patients who had a history of pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility, pelvic adhesion, tubal adhesion or endometriosis, the incidence of infertility and recurrent ectopic pregnancy was significantly higher, and it was also significantly higher in patients undergoing an open surgery than those undergoing a laparoscopic surgery, which showed significant difference(P0.05).Conclusions The risk factors of infertility and recurrent ectopic pregnancy after tubal pregnancy surgery include pelvic inflammatory disease, history of infertility, pelvic adhesion, tubal adhesion, endometriosis and open surgery history,to which more attention should be paid.
