Abstract
We present a genome assembly from a specimen of Agaricus bisporus (the cultivated mushroom; Basidiomycota; Agaricomycetes; Agaricales; Agaricaceae). The genome sequence spans 30.30 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 13 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 133.12 kilobases in length.
