Abstract

To assess role of Diffusion Weighed Imaging in diagnosinguterine lesions. The aim of the study is to evaluate the importance of DWI sequence and ADC values in differentiating benign and malignant lesion. To evaluate Diffusion Weighed Imaging characteristics ofvarious uterinelesions. The study targets the role of DWI in detecting adenomyosis and leiomyoma (fibroids) based on ADCvalues. The study also targets the role of DWI in detectingcarcinoma endometrium and carcinoma cervix based on ADCvalues.
