Abstract
Endometriosis is defined as endometrial tissues found outside the uterus. Growth and development of the endometriotic cells in ectopic sites can be promoted by multiple pathways. (-)-Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) were mediated through multiple signal transduction by binding to different molecular targets in different disease. Our previous study showed that prodrug of EGCG (ProEGCG) was more effective in term of anti-endometriosis, anti-angiogenesis, and anti-oxidation. Our study aims to reveal the underlying mechanism of differential therapeutic efficacy and their molecular targets.
