Abstract
This case study investigates the application of AI in developing an E-commerce platform for shoe sales, focusing on the integration of OpenAI's ChatGPT into the software development lifecycle. By leveraging the GPT-4 model, the study introduces an innovative methodology that automates the creation of UML diagrams, code, UI prototypes, and database schemas. The findings indicate that AI significantly enhances efficiency and consistency while maintaining the quality of software artifacts. Although challenges in AI integration and interpretation were encountered, the study confirms AI's transformative role in software engineering. The research bridges the gap between theoretical AI capabilities and their practical implementation, offering insights for future enhancements in the field and establishing a methodological foundation for efficient, high-quality software development.
