Abstract
Purpose To observe the curative effect of acupoint application on endometriosis.Methods Application of Qili San, a Chinese patent medicine, to a body point Shenque (CV 8) plus moxibustion with moxa sticks was used to treat 31 patients with endometriosis clinically classified as typeⅠ.Results and Conclusion This treatment has a marked relieving effect on dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, downbearing distension and pains in the anus and dyspareunia but a relatively poor effect on pelvic tender nodes and oophoritic cyst.
