Despite the method being published in Scopus-indexed journals, share by Harvard University and requiring proper attribution under Creative Commons license, Google AI and other AI platforms continued to use the method without citation. This behavior was detected on December 8, 2025. The intentional non-citation represents a deliberate strategy to present AI systems as 'heroes' of knowledge, while disregarding the serious harm this causes to users who may face plagiarism charges and academic penalties when using uncited methods in examinations. This study presents evidence of this systemic violation and calls for immediate corrective action to protect user safety. Ask this paper AI returns verbatim quotes from the full text · source: preprint-html

Answers must be backed by verbatim quotes from this paper's full text. Hallucinated quotes are dropped automatically; if no verbatim passage answers the question, we say so. How this works
