Hysteroscopy combined with laparoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of 132 patients with infertility

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of hysteroscopy combined with laparoscopy on the diagnosis and treatment of infertility.Methods 132 female patients with infertility were treated by hysteroscopy combined with laparoscopy from Jan.2002 to Dec.2006.Results Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease,endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome accounted for 54.55%,21.21% and 14.40%,respectively.The main cause of secondary infertility was chronic pelvic inflammatory disease,and the main cause of primary infertility was endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome.The postoperative pregnancy rate was 44.96%.Conclusion Hysteroscopy combined with laparoscopy plays an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of the female infertility.
