Application of Guizhifuling capsules in the treatment of infertility

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Guizhifuling capsules in the treatment of infertility.Method Total 117 cases who visited in our hospital from January 2003 to December 2007 by infertility were observed,including 42 cases of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease,34 cases of uterine fibroids,23 cases of endometriosis and 18 cases of polycystic ovary syndrome.All cases took Guizhifuling capsule 3 to 6 months,the average time of taking medication were(4.57 ± 1.86) months,the method was 3 capsules,three times a day.Then we tracked the pregnancy rate after stopping drug 6 months.Results Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease,endometriosis,uterine fibroids and polycystic ovary syndrome in pregnancy rate were 40.47%(17/42),34.78%(8/23),41.12%(14/34) and 33.34%(6/18).The pregnancy rate of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and uterine fibroids were higher than endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome(P0.05).Conclusion Guizhifuling capsules can be widely used in the treatment of infertility.Moreover it can obtain good effect particularly in infertility by chronic pelvic inflammatory and uterine fibroids.
