Abstract

AbstractThis paper explores the current state and challenges of business management in Nigeria's electricity sector. With an unstable power supply system and underperforming infrastructure, the Nigerian electricity sector has been in a state of dysfunction for decades. Through an analysis of the management framework and policies governing the sector, this study identifies the root causes of inefficiencies and provides a roadmap to overcome them. Using data-driven methodologies, this paper evaluates the historical context, ongoing reforms, and performance indicators within the sector. Key recommendations include prioritizing regulatory independence, fostering investment in infrastructure, and improving operational efficiency.
