Abstract

Cytokines – is the low-molecular protein-peptide factors produced by the activated cells, is the similar hormone molecules which carry out short distance regulation of intercellular interactions of all parts of immune system, and also intersystem interactions. Сytokinotherapy has found the application in many areas of clinical practice: in oncology, surgery, gynecology, endocrinology, pediatrics, rheumatology, infectious diseases, phthisiology, pulmonology, neurology, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology and many others. Among modern immune medications the «Roncoleukin» consisting of recombinant IL-2 and «Splenopid» consisting of complex natural cytokines are highly effective immunomodulators, applied at the pyoinflammatory diseases of the abdomen cavity, the small pelvis, the soft tissues accompanied by a secondary immunodeficiency.
