Abstract
Endometriosis, a leading cause of infertility, primarily affects the ovaries. Hormone therapy, the primary pharmacological treatment, suppresses ovulation, limiting its suitability for fertility treatments. Surgical interventions may also cause ovarian damage. Therefore, there is a critical need for non-hormonal pharmacological treatments. However, the current treatment options remain mainly asymptomatic, like painkillers. To address this issue, we have undertaken research using murine models of endometriosis to explore non-hormonal therapies.
