Study on the value of laparoscopy in diagnosis and treatment of female infertility

Abstract
Objective:To explore the value of laparoscopy in diagnosis and treatment of female infertility.Methods:507 infertile women who received laparoscopy and completed follow-up were analyzed retrospectively.Results:507 infertile women were followed up for 24~60 months after laparoscopy.241 women got pregnancy(including 16 women of ectopic pregnancy),the total pregnancy rate was 47.5%.According to the laparoscopy results,the pregnancy rates of cases with normal pelvic cavity,pelvic inflammatory diseases,endometriosis and other factors were 59.5%,37.9%,44.6% and 73.2%,respectively;the proportions of cases with normal pelvic cavity diagnosed definitely by laparoscopy among the cases with normal results of preoperative hydrotubation and salpingography were 22.0% and 44.7%,respectively;the pregnancy rate of assisted reproduction after laparoscopy was 42.1%.Conclusion:Laparoscopy plays an active role in diagnosis and treatment of female infertility and may help to increase the pregnancy rate in assisted reproduction.
