Abstract

Objective:To assess the value of laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy in diagnosis and treatment of the female infertility.Methods:From Jan 1999 to Oct 2003,593 infertile patients were treated by laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy. The procedures included salpingo-ovariolysis, salpinyostomy, endocoagulation of endometriosis enucle-ation of endometriotic implants in the ovary, hysteroscopic resection of uterine fibroids and septate uterus. Results: 525 patients were followed up. 18 months in average, 186 patients were intrauterine and 4 patiens were actopic pregnacy.Conclusions: Laparoscopy combined with hysteroscopy can not only diagnoses the cause of infertility but also cure some patients , it provides a simple and effect way which results in less injury and quicker recovery.
