Abstract

The article presents the analysis of the interrelation of endometrial proliferation and resistance to insulin at 127 women with endometrial polyps in postmenopausal adiposity. As a result, it was established that proliferative activity in endometrial tissue at postmenopausal women related to increased glucose, glico-haemoglobin, insulin, FIRI, HOMA-IR indexes as well as lower index Caro. Thus, pathogenetic factor in the development of endometrial polyps in postmenopausal women is insulin resistance, developing at the background of hyperinsulinemia.
