Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of hemostatic methods of bipolar electrocoagulation on ovarian reserve function in treatment of unilateral chocolate cyst of ovary by laparoscopic cystectomy. Methods 48 patients with unilateral chocolate cyst of ovary from January to December in 2011 were treated with laparoscopic cystectomy in our hospital, and bipolar electrocoagulation was adopted during operation. The basal sexual hormone levels, amounts of basal antral follicles(Fo),peak systolic of blood flow velocity(PSV) by transvaginal sonography were tested before the operation,in the first menstrual cycle and 6 months later after operation to explore ovarian reserve function. Results The serum levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) before and after operation and 6 months after operation were compared, the data increased significantly after the operation(P0.05);E2,Fo and PSV significantly declined(P0.05).6 months after operation, the ovarian reserving function in 91.7% of the patients recovered to normal. Conclusion The ovarian reserving function tends to decrease temporarily after hemostasis by bipolar electrocoagulation in laparoscopic cystectocmy in treatment of unilateral chocolate cyst of ovary, but most patients can recover after operation in 6 months.
