Abstract
The treatment of endometriosis with the Gn-RH agonists (Gn-RH(a)), is at present the most common medical therapy against this disease. It is used in patients consulting for infertility or pain; alone, associated with surgery or before Assisted Reproduction programs; besides in other special pathologies as Adenomiosis or Extrapelvic endometriosis. The results are very succesfuly, decreasing the extension of the endometriotic lesions in almost all cases; improving the pain in > 90% of patients; and with a good fertility recuperation. It is concluded, that the use of Gn-RH(a) is very useful in the management of the EM, alone or associated to surgery or Assisted Reproductive thechniques.
