Analysis of the high cited papers of the endometriosis

Objective To analyze the cited rule of highly cited papers of the endometriosis.Methods The papers with in the title were searched in the databanks in China National Knowledge Internet(CNKI).The number of papers,the cited frequency,the distributions of the authors and the associated journals were analyzed by bibliometries.Results 6 305 published papers were found according to the searching conditions. 2 225 papers (35.29%) were cited. 93 of them (1.48%) were highly cited (cited frequency≥20).The average cited frequency was 35.95,the average downloaded frequency was 80.26. There were 62 articles (66.67%),12 edtorials (12.9%),and 11 reviews (11.83%) in highly cited papers. These 93 papers were published in 29 Journals. There was more than one author in 73 papers (78.49%) and the mean number of authors was 3.29. There were 14 papers (15.05%) supported by grant.Conclusion The cited rates of endometriosis papers were low and most of which were articles and editorials.The percentage of papers supported by grant was higher.
