Efektifitas Curcumin Pada Mencit (Musmusculus) Penderita Endometriosis Ektopik Terhadap Fertilitas: Penelitian Eksperimental Laboratoris

Endometriosis is the presence of ootopic endometrial tissue, such as outside the uterine cavity that can cause chronic inflammatory reactions. Curcumin is one of the traditional herbal treatment. Several experimental tests have maoaged to find a mechanism to treat endometriosis ectopic curcumin through suppression mechanisms of several cytokines such as TNF-a, NF-kB, andCOX-2. This research is a laboratory experimental study, with five treatments and six replications, using mice (Mus musculus) females of experimental animals in research. This research consists of three phases, namely the study's fim phase is a microscopic examination of oocyte quality, the second is the observation and examination of the fertilization mte in vitro fertilization, the third stage is the examination of the histopathology folikulogenesis profile with using Hematoxillin Eosin staining The presence of a significant difference between PO with treatment group and KN on folikulogenesis profile (p <0.05). On examination of oocyte quality and fertilization mtes showed significant difference between the control group with treatment group (p <0.05). Curcumin bas a role be some modulation of cytokines in endometriosis patients with ectopic mice that curcumin can reduce the occurrence of apoptosis of granulose cells that can repair folilrulogenesis profile, enhance and improve quality of oocyte, and fertilization mtes. The conclusion of this study is curcumin effectively cope with fertility problems through the mechanism of modulation is one of several cytokines TNFa, NF-kB, and COX-2, the curcumin can improve folilrulogenesis profile, improving the quality of oocytes and fertilization rates in vitro fertilization.
