While medical management with high-dose corticosteroids, intravenous immunoglobulin, and plasmapheresis is well established, physiotherapy plays a vital role in improving functional outcomes. Case Presentation: This case report describes a 13-year-old male diagnosed with ADEM, who presented with motor weakness, impaired coordination, and gait disturbances. A structured physiotherapy intervention focusing on range of motion exercises, proprioceptive training, balance exercises, and gait rehabilitation was implemented over 16 weeks. Conclusion: The patient showed significant improvements in muscle strength, mobility, and independence in daily activities. This case highlights the importance of early and structured physiotherapy in optimizing recovery and functional independence in ADEM patients.
