Abstract
Researches show that menstrual blood reflux is the incentive of endometriosis and the attachment-aggression-angiogenesis is the basic pathogenesis of EM.Some studies have suggested that the occurrence of EM depends on the eutopic endometrium and the immune dysfunction in combination with a variety of cell activity factors plays an important role in the occurrence and development of EM.Therefore, multiple theories of EM pathogenesis are proposed from different perspectives, including eutopic endometrium theory, immune theory and genetic theory. This paper reviewed the pathogenesis of EM in order to search for new comprehensive treatments.
