Abstract

OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical efficacy of canesten vaginal tablets and nystatin suppository in the treatment of fungal vaginitis during pregnancy. METHODS A total of 116 cases of pregnancy patients with fungal vaginitis were collected from May 2009 to May 2010 in our hospital, the treatment group(60 cases) to give Canesten vaginal tablets, the control group(56 cases) to give nystatin suppository.Clinical efficacy, adverse effects and recurrence condition of two groups were observed. RESULTS The total effective rate(96.67%) was higher than the control group(89.29%),but the difference was not statistically significant(P0.05);and recovery rate(83.33%) was significantly higher(57.14%)than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.01);the recurrence rate of observation group was 8.00%,significantly lower than the control group 28.13%,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05). CONCLUSION Canesten vaginal tablets in the treatment of fungal vaginitis during pregnancy can significantly improve the cure rate and reduce the recurrence rates, reduce adverse reactions, and has less frequent drugs, which is easy to be accepted by pregnant women, compared with nystatin suppositories, and is more secure, convenient, effective, and worthy of clinical application.
