Abstract
Background: Endometriosis is a common condition seen in subfertile women especially in unexplained subfertility and incidence appears to increase in the recent era. This study aims to find out the prevalence of endometriosis in unexplained subfertile women diagnosed during diagnostic hysterolaparoscopy. Settings and Design: A Hospital based retrospective study over a period of One year Materials and Methods: It is a retrospective study conducted in the Rathna Fertility centre, Swamiyar madam, Tamil nadu from July 2018 to July 2019 among unexplained subfertile women undergoing diagnostic laparoscopy. A total of 75 patients underwent diagnostic hysterolaparoscopy for unexplained subfertility and out of these 34 patients who had laparoscopic evidence of endometriosis were included in the study.
