Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of MMP-2 and CD105 in the eutopic and ectopic endometrium of adenomyosis and their relation with pathogenesis of adenomyosis. Methods Endometrial specimens were obtained from 30 cases with adenomyosis.MMP-2 were detected by immunohistochemical taining.microvessels were highlighted by immunohistochemical staining by detected CD105.the average microvessels counted per field(400×) were obtained by use of a computerized image analysis system. Results The expression of MVD in the ectopic endometrium and in the dutopic endometrium of adenomyosis tissues were 24.19±5.30,17.89±4.53,the expression of MVD in two group above had significant difference(P0.05),The expression of MVD in the eutopic endometrium of secretory phase was not significantly higher than that of proliferative phase(P0.05);The positive expression of MMP-2 in the ectopic endometrium and in the entopic endometrium were 76.67%(23/30) and 46.67%(14/30).The expression of MMP-2 in the ectopic endometrium of adenomyosis was significantly higher than that in the eutopic endometrium of adenomyosis(P0.05).The expression of MMP-2 in the eutopic of adenomyosis of secretory phase was significantly higher than that of proliferative phase(P0.05);MVD was significantly correlated with the expression of MMP-2(r=0.489,P0.01).Conclusion The overexpression of MMP-2 and MMP-2 significantly have close relationship with angiogenesis of adenomyosis which play an important role in adenomyosis, and participate in the process of invasion.
