Clinical observation on endometrial cyst of ovary treated with laparoscopic surgery combined with gestrinone

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic surgery combined with gestrinone in treatment of endometrial cyst of ovary,evaluate the feasibility of recurrence and clinical value. Methods:72 cases with endometrial cyst of ovary who had received laparoscopic surgery in the hospital from January 2005 to March 2007 were selected,then they were divided into simple laparoscopic surgery group(35 cases) and combined group(37 cases) according to receiving drug treatment or not.The cases were followed up for 24～36 months,then the remission rates of symptoms and postoperative recurrence rates in the two groups were analyzed. Results:The recurrence rates in simple laparoscopic surgery group and combined group were 51.43% and 18.9%,respectively,there was significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion:Laparoscopic surgery combined with gestrinone contributes to the prevention and treatment of recurrence of endometrial cyst of ovary,which can be used for choosing treatment protocols of endometrial cyst of ovary.
