Abstract
Objective To discuss the diagnostic value of TVS, uterine canal acoustic contrast and serum CA 125 levels applicated respectively or combinatively in patients with adenomyosis. Methods 120 cases with adenomyosis and hysteromyoma underwent TVS, uterine canal acoustic contrast and measurement of serum CA 125 levels within 7 days before surgery. The comparison was made between laboratorial results and pathological results, at the same time t and χ 2 docimasia were taken as the statistic methods, the outcome was formulated ±s. Results The combination of the three methods could increase the sensitivity to 97 % and the accuracy to 90 %, in using these methods seperately or combinatively for examination of adenomyosis. Conclusion The diagnostic value of TVS combined with uterine canal acoustic contrast and serum CA 125 levels is superior to that of the three methods using respectively for the diagnosis of adenomyosis.
