The therapeutic effects of Xingqiquyu decoction in treating adenomyosis

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Xingqiquyu decoction in treating adenomyosis.Methods Eighty-seven patients were randomly selected into two groups.The treatment group was treated with the Chinese medicine Xingqiquyu decoction,1 agent daily,water frying,servicing for 3 months as a period of treatment.The control group was treated with gestrinone,2 times each week,2.5mg for each;continue for 3 months as a period of treatment.The clinical effects,serum CA125 levels and 1 year recurrence rate of two groups were observed.Results After two periods,the uterine volume,serum CA125 levels of the treatment group were better than that in control group(P0.01).The 1 year recurrence rate in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Xingqiquyu decoction can control the adenomyosis effectively.
