Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the expression and localization of CD147 in endometriosis Methods: The expression of CD147 protein on paraffin embeded tissues was determined by immunohistochemical analysis endometriotic tissues ( n =30) and matched eutopic endometria( n =18) of patients with endometriosis and eutopic endometria of normal menstruating women without endometriosis( n =15) Results:Endometriotic tissues showed statisticaly stronger staining compared with eutopic endometria( P 0 05) Conclusion: Compared to eutopic endometrium, ectopic endometrium has a higher capacity to produce CD147
