L'évolution de l'indication de l'hystérectomie vaginale

Abstract
I II In the obstetric service of gynaecology and obstetric of the ospital center Ibn Rochd of Casablanca, 52 hysterectomies were done for enign diseases, during two years. This work studies the evolution of the dication of the vaginal hysterectomy during this period. O O O On the 52 hysterectomies, 24 were done by vaginal way which present 46.15% of the cases and 28 per abdominal way which represent 3.85% of the cases. The found indications were as follow : for the vaginal ay, 41.7% of uterus’s myoma, 25% of prolapse, 8.3% of adenomyosis nd haemorrhagia resistant to the medical treatment and 4.2% of ndometrial polype and endometrium hyperplasia. For the abdominal way, 0% of uterus’s myoma, 25% of the ovary benign tumours, 21.4% of vary’s cyst and 3.6% of tubal tumour . F F F For the vaginal way 5 complications were found in per operational; renouncements in the vaginal way, 2 bladder lesions. In postoperative one ase of prolapse of the vaginal dome was listed and one digestive lesion. or the abdominal way no complication was found in per operational, but postoperative, 2 cases of haemorrhagia and thromboembolic omplications and one case of evisceration, were found. T T T The weight of the uterus varied between 7495g as a maximum value and 35g as a minimal value for the abdominal way, for the vaginal way the weight of the uterus varied between 1750g as a maximum value and 45g as a minimal value. B B B Based on these results and the data of the literature, we can affirm that the vaginal hysterectomy is a technique which presents many advantages and should be used each time the conditions allow it
