Abstract

Endometriosis is a common gynecologic problem and its etiology is unknown. More and more animal experiments and environmental epidemiological studies suggested that environmental toxins such as dioxin seemed to play an important role in pathogenesis of endometriosis. However, potential mechanisms are unclear, maybe it cause the disease through many ways. We reviewed evidence that dioxin is associated with endometriosis and possible pathogenesis.
