Value of Myoma of Uterus and Adenomyosis Treated By Uterine Arery Embolism

[Objective]To explore uterine artery embolism in the treatment of myoma of uterus and adenomyosis.[Methods]One hundred forty two patients with uterine myoma and adenomyosis were treated by ueterine artery embilosm .[Results]The myoma shrinked by 72.5% after uterine artery embolism in two months,The uterus shrinked by 82.3%. The myoma shrinked by 45.6% after embolism in six months , and the uterus shrinked by 60.4%. Obviously the symptom improved[Conclusion]The uterine artery embolism is of great benefit to treat myoma of uterus and adenomyosis.
