Abstract
Objective:To investigate whether endometriosis affected the endometrial receptivity in terms of av、β3integrin.Methods :Prospectively chosefifteeninfertile women with endometriosis as the only cause of infertility as ex-peri mental group and sixteen fertile women as control group.Mid-luteal serum concentration of progesterone and es-trodiol,as well as endometrial biopsies for histological dating and alpheV bate3 integrin expression was analyzed ineach patient. The parameter of each group was compared. Results :There were eight women diagnosed as mini malor mild(stage Ⅰand Ⅱ) endometriosis(subgroup Ⅰ) and seven women diagnoses as moderate or severe(stageⅢand Ⅳ) endometriosis(subgroup Ⅱ) bylaparoscopyin experi mental group. No statistically significant differencebetween thetwo groups was observedfor parameter of hormones, endometrial luteal phase dysfunction and bate3 in-tegrin expression. However, avintegrin expression decreased in experi mental group. And only in moderate or severeendometriosis subgroup did this difference have statistical significance(P0.01).Conclusions :These resultsshowed that moderate or severe endometriosis lead to decrease of endometrial receptivity, that may associated withinfertility and miscarriagein those women.Further studies were needed to clarify the relationship between avintegrinexpression decrease and infertilityin moderate or severe endometriosis associated infertility women.
