Abstract

In review, the paper shows the importance 1 Of observing any displacement of the fallopian tubes and/or the uterus from normal position. 2 Of observing irregularity of peritoneal spill by the “rule of 3” and loss of contour of the pelvic floor. 3 Of taking films in both the prone and supine positions. It also shows the advantage of the oily media over the water-soluble, particularly for perito-neograms, thus avoiding the possibility of a subsequent culdoscopy.
