The method of Poincaré continuation along a parameter is employed to determine the initial integration conditions. The thrust level of the engine serves as the parameter. Thus, the difficult search for initial approximations for the function of conjugate variables in solving optimization problems is eliminated. The application of the method makes it possible to obtain new solutions even for obvious coplanar maneuvers. Numerical examples and graphs illustrate the results obtained, which are difficult to predict.
