Expression of TGF-β_1 and TGF-β_1 mRNA in Human Endometriosis

Objective: To study the expression of TGF-β1 and TGF-β1 mRNA and to approach the mechanism of action in human endometriosis.Methods: Immunohistochemical SP method and SYBR Green real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RQ-PCR)tecnique were employed to detect the expression of TGF-β1 and TGF-β1mRNA in 54 specimens of ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium of endometriosis and 50 specimens of normal endometrium.Results: The immunohistochemistry revealed that the expression of TGF-β1 in ectopic endometrium of endometriosis were significantly higher than those of eutopic endometrium and normal endometrium(P0.05,P0.05).There was no significant difference between the expression of TGF-β1 in eutopic endometrium of human endometriosis and normal endometrium(P0.05).RQ-PCR showed that the expression of TGF-β1mRNA in each group followed the same trend.Conclusion: The abnormal expression of TGF-β1 might be correlation with the pathogenesis of human endometriosis.
