THE ROLE OF DECAPEPTYL IN ASSISTED REPRODUCTION IN PATIENTS WITH ENDOMETRIOSIS

Objective To investigate the role of decapeptyl in assisting reproduction in patients with endometriosis(EMs). Methods Fifty-eight infertile women with endometriosis were treated with Decapeptyl+HMG+HCG(EMs group). Another 58 women with unexplained infertility was served as controls. They were treated by in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET). The number of M_Ⅱ oocyte and embryo was observed and the pregnancy rate of both groups calculated. Results The amount of follicles and mature oocytes was higher in the EMs group than that in the control(t=2.27,χ 2=5.78-6.11,P0.05),and the pregnancy rate was also higher than that in the control group(χ 2=15.88,P0.01). Conclusion Decapeptyl may be helpful in increasing the pregnancy rate in the process of assisted reproduction in women with endometriosis.
