Abstract

The clinical and experimental study has revealed pathogenetic relation between metabolic syndrome components (obesity, insulin resistance, dyslipidaemia), androgen deficiency and functional condition of a 2 solitary kidney in men in late terms after nephrectomy. The low total testosterone blood level was related to the speed of glomerular filtration. The data of nephrectomy experimental modeling showed marked disbalanse of biogenic amines and testosterone during 30 days after operation, which were characterized by prevalence of vasoconstrictor amines effects over vasodilatative effects. The complex analysis of the received data has resulted in formulation of the original hypothesis of solitary kidney diseases’ pathogenesis in men based on its multiple reasons and interdisciplinary character of the problem.
