Clinical observation of Magnolia Officinalis Exhaust Mixture on recovery of gastrointestinal function after gynecilogical operation

Objective To observe the curative effect of Magnolia Officinalis Exhaust Mixture on recovery of gastrointestinal function after gynecilogical operation.Methods 86 patients were divided into treatment group of 44 cases and the control group of 42 patients,the treatment group was given Magnolia Officinalis Exhaust Mixture after operation,the control group was given treatment without special handling.The curative effects of two groups were observed after 24 hours.Results The total effective rate was 95.50% in treatment group and 30.95% in control group,the difference between the two groups was significant(χ2= 38.78,P 0.05).The indexes including hypertension,heart rate and blood oxygen saturation were measured in two groups before surgery and postoperative 24 hours.There was no obvious difference between before and after surgery.Conclusion Magnolia Officinalis Exhaust Mixture can accelerate gastric peristalsis,eliminate abdominal distension,and cure primary enteroparalysis after gynecologic operation.
