Mapping Biomolecular Targets for Pelvic Pain in Endometriosis: A scoping review protocol

Other OA: green CC0

Abstract

This protocol aims to establish the methodological framework and guidelines for conducting a scoping review intended to map biomolecular targets within the endometriotic lesion microenvironment and neural signaling pathways amenable to pharmacological modulation. By synthesizing evidence on these neuroimmune and endocrine pathways, this study seeks to identify molecular targets for drug repurposing, offering novel perspectives for managing endometriosis-associated pelvic pain.
