Abstract

Subcutaneous endometriosis near ceserean delivery scar is a rare mass, occuring in 0.03-0.4% of all women who have had ceaserean delivery. Typically it is painful during the menses. Radiologic imaging is helpful in differential diagnosis of endometriosis from other abdominal wall pathologies. Wide excision with 2-10 mm safety margin is preferred treatment modality. Abdominal wall masses can be seen coincidentally in abdominoplasy cases. In this study we present a well documented subcutaneous endometriosis case and a brief review of diagnosis and treatment modalities.
